The lightbars produced by GHL convince through a first-class quality and the manifold possible options.
The used eloxadized aluminium profile (50mm high and 52mm wide)
provides a maximal stability at a minimal weight.
The lightbars are available as follows:
- Non-dimmable (in case of 2 tubes also available as separately switchable, look at article PL-0288)
- Together or separately dimmable
- One or two tubes
For an additional charge the lightbars are also available in special lengths or tube formations. The GHL-team can help you here on request.
The dimmable lightbars of GHL can be connected directly to the ProfiLux controller or to GHL ManuDimm.
They dispose of an internal shut-off internal shut-off. An external shut-off is therefore not necessary.
GHL-Light bars dimmable and non-dimmable
Our dimmable light bars are manufactured in our own production regarding the highest quality and safety standards.
The innovative and high-quality construction of special anodized extruded aluminium profile enables a maximum of stability at a low weight. Through many variations and options, they are available for almost every aquarium.
The light bars are non-dimmable, together or separately dimmable, for one or two tubes and for an extra charge also available in special lengths or tube arrangements.

The dimmable GHL-light bars can be connected directly to the ProfiLux Computer or to our ManuDimm. They have an internal power shut-off, so an external shut-off is not necessary!
If our dimmable light bars shall be operated without ProfiLux or ManuDimm, then an additional external circuit is necessary to switch the internal shut-off relays.
Alternatively the dimmable light bars can also be ordered without shut-off.
Our T5-light bars are equipped exclusively with the most recent QTi-ballasts. Therewith you can also use - besides the common HO-tubes - HE-tubes of the same lengths and with less power.
Cable lengths: Control cable 2,4m, if necessary extendable with article VSL, power cable 1,8m.
Furthermore, different angle bracket options to hook the light bars into several aquarium coverings as well as jointers to bridge big aquarium lengths are available.
The standard lengths with or without angle brackets (Lengths indication over all) can be obtained from the table below.

In order to integrate the lightbar in the tank, several bracket options are available:
Lightbar option – W (the standard measure of the lightbar increases by 30 mm over all)
Lightbar option – MP (fitting for all MP-enclosures)
Lightbar option - BP (fitting for the GHL Aluprofil3 as well as for enclosures of Bioplast, Aquael etc.)
The dimmable T5 lightbars are also available in DALI-technology.
This BUS-technology enables the operation of up to 60 lightbars in 8 independent illumination channels via one control cable.
For the operation of lightbars with DALI-technology also a DALI-interface is required.
ProfiLux can be equipped with this interface by retrofitting the expansion card PLM-DALI.
